Professional Background
I worked in adult mental health as a care manager and psychotherapist in the United Kingdom between 1992 and 2016. I hold a BSc, a Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work, and a Post Graduate Award in Mindfulness Psychotherapy. My registration number with the Central Council for Education and Training in Social Work is 103007. I was the social work representative with the Scottish Institute of Human Relations, the Edinburgh School of Psychoanalysis, and I am a member of the International Association for Psychology and Counselling.
Current Practice
I am currently working as a Drug and Alcohol Counsellor at Changes.NL. I also run a small private practice in Fish Hoek, Cape Town, and in McGregor, where I facilitate workshops. I work with clients both in person and online.
Fees
My standard fee is R800 per session. I do not offer services through medical aid. Fees for longer-term work can be negotiated.
